Since I work for a funeral home I searched the term "funeral home" in Google Trends. I found some good information like people from certain states that are searching the term the most. I also found out the most popular individual funeral homes that people are searching so Google Trends can show me my competition. With keyword research, you could also check your competitors websites that are higher on the Google search than you and see what words they use and try to use some of their words with your own website to move higher on the search list.

Google Trends was able to provide great information for my cleaning company! I was able to compare my top key words, and Google Trends showed me that "House Cleaning" was the keyword that was searched most often. I loved the fact that they provided me with the top related queries that where associated with my top keywords. This was crucial information as I can use these queries in my website in order to raise my S.E.O.

Google Trends provided useful and relevant information for my search term "physical fitness". I found that Ohio is in the middle ranking by state for searches with that term. It also showed a spike in people searching for that term at January 1, which makes sense with people making new years resolutions. It also showed popular topics such as activity trackers and calorie counters.

Glad you found this information. Physical fitness is a broad keyword so you also want to keep narrowing this down to find your own unique place in this category.

By entering the words Marketing Books I was able to discover that books are marketed and sold online all over the world. I also discovered by using keyword shitter.com that urban fiction books is one of the key words I want to use repeatedly on my webpage.

I find Google Trends to very interesting and useful in terms of researching my market. Being that I work in the bicycle industry I explored generic keywords pertaining to cycling, bicycle brands, and genres of bicycles. Seeing the metrics as they relate to seasons, geographic regions, and to several year periods was very interesting and helpful. I feel this information will be very useful in better understanding my market and competition. Through properly interpreting this information one can make educated business decisions to adjust for the past and plan for the future.

I received great info from Google trends word searching. I learned that the most frequently searched keyword in the beauty and fitness category(comparing the four words: Fitness, physical health, body building, and healthy eating) in the United States over the past 12 months, is Fitness. Additionally, the charts showed a significant increase over time from November 2018-February 2019(having the highest recorded number) in the search trend, which seems legitimate concerning the onset and bringing in of the new year; people make new years resolutions, set goals, and a significant amount of these are typically health and fitness oriented.

I think Google Trends is a great and helpful thing. By searching the word “sneaker I was able to see where it was searched the most. I was also able to see which specific sneakers were being searched the most. This can be very helpful due to the fact that you’re a few words away from uncovering what people are specifically searching.

You are right about that Julian, Google Trends offers good information by time stamp, regional area, and sub sections of areas. Giving researchers more time to read and less time for sorting out a lot of unneeded information. Cool topic.

Google Trends was very informative. The two topics I chose to compare were cosmetology and hair extensions. Those two topics are being googled all across the world. The most common search for hair extension are the new mirco links that people are wearing now. For cosmetology the most popular searches has been for local beauty schools and license renewal. Which makes a lot of since because on every odd year you have to renew your cosmetology license.

I found both this article post and google trends both very helpful. I searched the word clothing and I noticed that the top places with the most searches for this key word is New York. This would seem accurate because New York is considered the fashion capital in america. This article is also very detailed on how to use google trends to help find information. It is also very useful to compare key words to find what you could do to be included under multiple key word searches.

Google trends showed me what's REALLY going on in the LGBT community. Apparently, transgender is a "trend" in this day and age. It is a label that is being misused and overplayed by Gengeration Z. Google trends opened my eyes to the flawed and following members of this upcoming society.

Hey Jake, great post. Right, I can't believe that transgender is being so overplayed by Generation Z. Back in my day, and I'm sure probably yours too, people did not ask questions why Aunt Jo had a beard, no husband, and looked like she had a banana in her pocket when she would see my grandpa scratch his balls with a fork then keep on eating his beans.

The key words I searched was Social Media, Instagram, Twitter, and pictures in the keyword search area; and the drop down tabs I used are, "United States, past 90 days, Business and Industrial and YouTube. Google Trends showed me the, interest over time, by the U.S. people was in the low 10% to the 25% range on social media and Twitter whereas the U.S. people were in the high 50% to 100% range on Instagram and picture searches. This is an awesome tool to use for any marketing plan or strategy, I was able to see where these keywords were being searched the most as well, in the top five States are District of Columbia, Hawaii, Alaska, West Virginia, and Delaware; The Sub region offered one phrase that was being searched it is, "branding yourself on social media", "How to make money on Instagram", "how to grow your own business on Twitter". This is all good information to know so I can build my website and social media strategies according to the relevant information researched.

Since i am thinking about entering the IT field I decided to look up Information Technology. Based on the search I discovered that it is most searched over seas than her in the United States. I found information on how to use Google Trends to find a target market. To find a more direct target market I would have to use words like certain areas or products. This can used by social media marketers by finding out where their target market is and where they can sell their product and make a reasonable profit.

The keywords that I chose were Instagram, Facebook, and Shopify and the timeframe I selected was for the past 90 days and the information I discovered was quite surprising. Facebook is trending over 4 times the amount than Instagram and almost 70 times more than Shopify. Facebook is trending and very popular sitting at about 70-90 on the popularity scale today Facebook is at 71. Instagram is much lower on average between 17 to 25 and Shopify is the lowest with a score and average of 1. The most interesting thing to me is that Shopify is a newer trending company thats products are advertised on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. However in the grand scheme of trends it is so significantly lower than both social media platforms. And even with extensive advertising of the products being purchased through Shopify people aren't directly searching for the word "shopify"

The keyword I used was charitable organization, it gave me one related queries that I'm not sure if it's a organization named Mermaid Mythic Creature +600% or is this a big event that happens. Either way it made me curious because if its a event then when I start mines this is a must go to event. And if its a organization then I need to watch them very closely so I can get my organization up to +600% as well

The keyword I used was football. I realized that football has lower interest than American Football since May 2004. I also found out that in the state breakup Vermont is the only state that has a highest percentage in Football. I enjoy watching football so this was a interesting topic.

After entering a few different keywords I was finally able to find one that had some interesting results! I appreciate Google Trends and the customizable details it allows! My keyword: APPLIANCES! It may not be relevant to my Business but as a consumer it was helpful! The most popular time of year to search for appliances is November! I was able to check the trends for the last 10+ years. Consistently searched for at the beginning of Retails fourth quarter. Now this does line up with Black Friday sales. I cannot wait to take a closer look at those times to see if there are good deals. If so, I never noticed! However, my dryer just broke, so I will be searching for appliances first thing tomorrow!!!! Wish me luck!

I used gaming as my keyword. After looking at the interest by subregion I saw that the only state with 100 was Nevada, whereas the lowest was District of Columbia with 31. I also saw that in related queries gaming chairs were +1650%, which is just insane. I picked this topic because I enjoy to play games.

Computers and Information technology are starting to peek my interest. Since technology happens to be the future, I figure it’s time for me to explore and see what options and avenues I should take. I want to learn more about technology. On Google Trend, I searched Information Technology, computers, operating systems, networking and noticed globally it’s on the rise. I am going to further my education within the Information Technology field as I am learning how to use the computer more for Social Media.

I found this information very useful once I followed the steps by using the keyword "wholesaling," and was given dozens of information on wholesaling and locations where it is most popular. I plan to have an ebay business and sale unlabeled products so this was very useful for me.
